I’m Andy Ruck, and I’ve been a Photographer for over 15 years. Ever since I was old enough to be trusted with a small point and click 35mm camera I’ve been taking photos. Holidays would end with my parents being given 5 or 6 films to get developed at the local camera shop, and summer would be spent creating albums.
I’ve spent the last 13 years in education working for an Academy Trust. I started out helping to write the photography course that still runs today, training teachers and pupils technique and skills for using equipment. I also produced marketing photography for use on websites and publications.
Nowadays I am a full time photographer running Rogue Ginger Photo. Commercial work is the bread and butter of my business, but I also shoot families, newborns, weddings, pets, headshots, parties, corporate photography and schools. Landscapes are my passion, and form about 70% of my personal projects.
Below is a sample of some of my work. More can be found by specific project in the Blog section.
